We’ve found that online booking sites (Trivago, Expedia, Priceline, etc) have great options, and include guest reviews, which are super helpful if you’re arriving early or staying later on one of our European tours. Whether you’re looking for budget boutique hotels or luxury 5-stars, these sites can be extremely helpful for honest reviews. Generally, we suggest staying in the city center of a new city–yes, it’s where most tourists stay, but it’s also almost always walkable, with plenty of resources, convenience stores, restaurants, and attractions nearby, while also remaining fairly safe. We don’t partner with any hotels, however, we have a list of hotels at all price points that come recommended by either the Yonderlust team or our guests. - Il Malaspina is a 4 star in the city center
- Il Rivalta is a 4 star on the Arno River
- Hotel Botticelli is a 4 star a couple of minutes’ walk from the Mercato Centrale, and the Accademia
- Bernini Palace is a 5 star with a great location
Rome
- Albergo Santa Chiara Hotel: 3-4 star near the Pantheon. Great location and value.
- Doubletree Monti: Hilton Hotel in great local neighborhood
- Condominio Monti: Great little neighborhood, walkable to most landmarks
- Hotel Nazionale Rome: Nice 4 star in the heart of the city
- Baglioni Hotel Regina: Beautiful 5 star, great location
- Grand Hotel Palace: 4-5 star with decent rates and good location
